What makes us so drawn to pottery is thinking that one day, our time will come and we will vanish from the face of the earth. More About Us But these pieces that we made, will live on and will continue to thrive. Some of them will break, some will be tainted, but some will stand the tests of time.

All of our pieces were made carefully through wheel throwing, slab pottery or slipcasting. Each piece came out of a long process unique and strong – Designed, crafted, photographed, and narrated the Little Bruns way.

About this Batch

This is our first full commercial range – a work inspired by our friends from the hospo industry. In conversation with chefs and from our short stint in cookery school, we learned that versatilty is most chefs’ #1 requirement in the kitchen – with no exception to tableware.

Making this collection was a step away from our beloved wheel. The process was a combination of slab pottery and slipcasting. Clay was flattened to create sheets, and waste clay was reclaimed into casting slip – all to make multi-purpose and utility ware for commercial and home kitchens. All pieces in the collection were decorated with white textured glaze with speckles, well-suited for a minimalist table setting.
